Maintenance Worker - Glencoe, MN

PRIMARY PURPOSE:

This position is responsible for the maintenance of the entire facility.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • While the company makes every effort to insure safe working conditions, the employee is responsible for his own safety, and working safely is a condition of employment.

  • Be familiar with and be able to perform all production positions and fill in as needed.

  • Maintain all equipment and the facility, keeping records of maintenance performed and update maintenance logs as needed.

  • Keep essential parts and supplies on hand without having excess inventory of equipment.

  • Strive to get equipment in like new condition for total process reliability (TPR).

  • Alert management to any deficiencies in equipment and what is needed to correct the deficiency.

  • Perform forklift operator’s daily check list prior to day’s first use of forklifts.

  • Follow quality control procedures as outlined in QA Manual and plant quality objectives.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Good organizational skills.

  • Ability to adapt to ongoing changes.

  • Forklift operator certification.

  • Knowledge of plant procedures

  • Ability to work effectively as a team member.

  • Ability to lift 50# bags to a height of 48”.
