Mixer Operator – Abilene, KS

This is a full time, hourly position

Job Summary:

ADM Animal Nutrition, Inc. has an opening for 3rd shift Mixer Operator at the Abilene, KS facility. Typical hours are 9:00 pm – 5:00 am Sunday – Thursday, $2.00/hr shift differential applies. This position will be responsible for the operation and monitoring of processing equipment, physically handling warehouse inventory and operating a forklift.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment

  • Record production records on operator run sheets

  • Weighments of ingredients

  • Monitor quality

  • Other responsibilities as assigned by management

  • Perform housekeeping duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • Strong safety and math aptitude

  • Ability to multi-task

  • Excellent verbal and written skills

  • Work from heights, sit, stand, kneel, crawl and bend

  • Work in variety of hot and cold, dusty conditions

  • Willing to work overtime as needed

  • Ability to lift 55 lbs.

  • Basic computer skills

  • Strong attention to detail with ability to work effectively as a team member
