CLASSIFICATION: Full Time, hourly

LOCATION: Abilene, KS

REPORTS TO: Assistant Plant Manager

PRIMARY PURPOSE:

This position is responsible for the effective cleaning of the plant and the stacking of bags on plastic or wood pallets.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Handle and stack 50 lb bags on wood or plastic pallets.

  • General housekeeping duties including: sweeping, scraping, shoveling, and vacuuming.

  • Emptying trash barrels

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education - High School or equivalent

  • Able to lift 50 lbs on a repeated basis

  • Able to sit and stand for long periods

  • Able to bend, kneel and squat

  • Able to work in confined spaces

  • Able to work with heights
