Maintenance - Chattanooga, TN

This is a full-time, hourly position.

Job Summary:

The Maintenance will be responsible for the overall preventative maintenance and repair of the facilities.

Job Responsibilities:

The position responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Perform millwright work as needed

  • Actively participate in safety programs

  • Respond to call-ins

  • Provide general mechanical repair and maintenance

  • Maintenance and repair of belt and chain drive assemblies

  • Watch for and report all safety issues

  • Effectively work as a team member

  • Ability to communicate with all levels of employees

  • Effectively learn and follow written company rules and procedures

Job Requirements:

  • High School diploma, GED or equivalent

  • At least three years of experience in welding, fabrication, industrial equipment installation preferred

  • Basic knowledge of all hand tools required

  • Basic working knowledge of shop machinery is preferred

  • Previous experience working in grain elevators is a plus

  • Ability to learn and follow rules and procedures effectively

  • General mechanical ability

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time

  • Ability to climb ladders/stairs, work with heights and perform confined space entry

  • Be safety oriented

  • Able to work in a variety of environmental conditions, such as hot and cold temperatures and a dusty environment

  • Ability to work overtime on an as needed basis

  • Must be willing to work weekends and holidays as needed

  • Regular and timely attendance is a must
