This is a full-time, exempt position.

Position Summary:

The primary role of the Accounting Manager is to supervise and oversee the commission payouts, brokerage (give-up) and fee processes Team, supervise and assist with the preparation of daily and monthly schedules and reconciliations supporting financial controls and reporting, assistance with periodic audits, and collaborate with other departments on ad hoc projects. The Accounting Manger will report directly to the SVP CFO and collaborate with the Controller and FP&A Finance Director.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise the Commission Payout and Brokerage (give-up) and Fee Team of 4

  • Oversee monthly processing of commission payouts to brokers and independent contractors

  • Oversee exchange and clearing fee revenue and fee static data maintenance and reconciliation, fee payable and receivables

  • Manage brokerage (give-up) receivables and payables toward timely invoicing, collection and payment

  • Review monthly payout computations for accuracy and completeness

  • Backup, support and assist Team with daily and monthly tasks

  • Collaborate with commercial leaders on commission and fee setup and maintenance

  • Supervise preparation of daily and monthly account reconciliations

  • Assist with preparing and gathering data during audits

  • Prepare revenue and expense analysis and expense accruals

  • Other general accounting tasks

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in the futures industry as an accounting supervisor or manager

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

  • 10 years accounting experience with 3 years or more managing staff

  • Strong analytical abilities, initiative and problem solving skills

  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office

  • Previous experience collaborating with management and reporting financial results

  • Promotes the ADM Way and Core Values
