Job Description:
Claims Coordinator II - Decatur, IL; Chicago, IL; Erlanger, KY, New Orleans, LA or any other ADM location within the United States.
Position Summary:
The Auto Liability Claim Coordinator II will manage auto liability and other claims for the Company and will advise the company on coverage elections, insurance structures, and overall risk management.
Job Responsibilities:
Actively manage a significant docket of claims in the United States, proactively working with third-party insurance adjusters, internal business units, and outside parties.
Work closely with the company’s legal department to appropriately resolve claims.
Oversee the adjustment of auto liability claims involving property damage.
Assist the legal department with respect to auto liability claims involving personal injuries.
Efficiently manage communications involving third-party-insurance adjusters, insurance brokers, primary and excess insurance carriers, captive insurance company, and others to ensure accuracy in notifications, reserves, and financial reporting.
Assist in leveraging and improving internal systems for data collection, analysis, and reporting of claim and loss information.
Job Requirements:
Experience in adjusting a wide range of auto liability claims involving property damage and injuries.
Outstanding oral and written communication ability and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build relationships among a diverse group of stakeholders and positively influence outcomes.
Ability to manage others and work independently in furtherance of department goals and the strategic plan.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced and dynamic environment handling multiple competing tasks simultaneously.
Highly motivated, proactive, self-disciplined and team-oriented.

Experience with insurance issues related to agricultural products, food and beverage, and flavorings preferred but not required.
