This is a full-time, exempt position.

Job Summary:

The RCM Lead is a key leader in building and leading change in assigned scope whether individual or multi-site responsibilities. They are considered a leader in the operations management team and are responsible for driving step change improvement for plant reliability and championing the continued move from reactive to proactive maintenance models. They will apply their knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience to ensure continuous improvement to optimize the company's physical assets, maintenance and reliability processes, and strategies. Lead implementation, acceptance, and adoption of established enterprise asset management systems (CMMS).

  • Deploy the equipment reliability strategy and ensure it is integrated, and part of Performance Excellence.

  • Ensure the NDE capital and expense budgets are aligned with the strategic direction.

  • Leads development of asset management strategy that aligns with business needs.

  • Works closely with plant maintenance team to optimize plant resources to find new ways to drive further efficiencies.

  • Established standardized maintenance organizations with clear roles, responsibilities, and staffing based on replacement asset values.

  • Ensure a deep understanding of current standard methodologies (reliability elements) in the reliability, the maintenance industry, and deploy those agreed standards to assigned site(s) and work scope.

  • Define and drive reliability metrics and KPI’s in support of operational goals while improving safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

  • Utilizes downtime and cost data to prioritize improvement opportunities around equipment reliability and organization efficiency.

  • Provide direction and technical support to the plant Maintenance Department.

  • Identify continuous improvement projects and develop business cases in collaboration with plant maintenance team.

  • Effective usage of maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution processes using ADM’s chosen Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field (preferred) plus 5 or more years of experience in Reliability and Maintenance (R&M) activities or 15+ years of experience in R&M activities in lieu of degree.

  • Electrical or mechanical experience in a manufacturing maintenance and engineering environment.

  • Experience leading a maintenance department.

  • Proficient in predictive and preventive maintenance methodologies and practices.

  • Knowledge of Root Cause Analysis, Cause and Effect or FMEA methodologies.

  • Proven ability to lead multifunctional teams.

  • Project management skills.

  • Excellent English written and oral communication skills (Including the ability to present information to a formal group).

  • Familiarity with food quality, safety, and process safety management.

  • Tenacity in pursuing objectives to completion correctly and on time.

  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to be a team player.

  • Certified Maintenance Reliability Professional (CMRP) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certifications preferred, but not required.
