Job Summary

ADM is seeking a Sr. Developer assist in our Digital transformation and sustainment activities.

This role will be focused in Web development and operations and will build according to ADM and industry integration standards. We will utilize these standards to design solutions that meet operational requirements including scalability, maintainability, security, reliability, extensibility, flexibility, availability, and manageability. The role is responsible for reviewing and performing the development, implementation, maintenance, and support of designs and provides oversight of applications.

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the overall Web solutions development and support within their scope. This role is specifically focusing on Websites and the related Marketing Technology stack (Marketing automation, Analytics, Consent, Domains).

  • Articulate business requirements and plan technology architecture and solutions in line with to leverage digital needs. Partner with both business digital marketing as well as development and infrastructure operations teams to support implementing strategy to leverage key digital assets within the realm of ADM branding.

  • Be a technical point of reference in the global Digital Marketing strategy of ADM.

  • Provide documented technology guidance, road-maps, principles, standards, and best practices.

  • Provide technical support and drive technical maintenance of the solutions in scope.

  • Provide oversight and coaching to team members

  • Drive development and operations/hosting with internal or outsourced resources, with customer engagement and quality as guiding principles.

  • Monitor application design and ensure compliance with architectural standards and policies.

  • Be on the watch and future ready to set ADM at the best level at all times.

Job Requirements

  • Experience as a Sr. WebOps Developer.

  • 4+ years of experience on agile digital assets service delivery management being preferred.

  • Experience with one or more modern Front End frameworks (React, Angular, Vue, etc.).

  • 3+ years of experience in front-end technologies including, but not limited to, JavaScript, AJAX, HTML, CSS, SASS, XML.

  • Experience with Back-end frameworks (.Net, Java, Python), Databases (SqlServer, Oracle, PostGreSQL, mariaDB, Mongo, Cosmos) and integrations .

  • 3+ years of .Net or PHP / SqlServer or MariaDB experience being preferred.

  • Experience with CMS solutions (eg. Episerver, Wordpress).

  • Experience with digital marketing stack tools and practices (domains, certificates, analytics, consent, marketing automation) - Google Marketing Platform, One Trust, Salesforces being preferred.

  • Experience with leveraging DevSecOps CI/CD platforms (Jenkins, DevOps).

  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (eg. Powershell, ARM, Terraform) and operations automation practices (eg. Rundeck).

  • Experience with hosting technologies and web server configuration (eg. Apache, IIS, proxies).

  • Experience of Web Services, XML, XSD, SOAP, JSON, REST, OPENAPI and ODATA Services.

  • Experience of Git (or TFS) related source control best practices.

  • Experience setting up / writing unit, integration, and end to end tests.

  • Relevant Technical architect background in cloud based solution/services to provide application delivery into cloud environment, Azure being preferred.

  • Knowledge of Security Standards - SSL, PGP, Encryption, SAML, OAuth etc.

  • Knowledge of major communication protocols such as HTTPS, SFTP, TCPIP, JDBC, JMS etc.

  • Knowledge of web performance best practices (eg. GTMetrix, CDNs CloudFlare/CloudFront).

  • Knowledge of UX/UI best practices and tools (eg. Adobe XD, Figma).

  • Knowledge of accessibility best practices (WCAG).

  • Knowledge of Services Oriented Architectures, RESTful Interfaces & Enterprise Application Patterns.

  • Knowledge of Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) to deliver artifacts.

  • Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Ability to technically drive development and operations resources, potentially outsourced.

  • Eagerness to learn new tools and technologies, and passion to deliver quality solutions both individually and as part of a team.

  • Solution focused and ability to navigate in a matrixed / ITIL processed environment and with competing priorities.

  • Timezones and multicultural awareness and interest, as well as Change Management.

  • Comfortable in a work environment that requires strong problem-solving skills, independent self-direction coupled with team collaboration, and open communication. Knowledge of the principles & patterns of Agile software development.

  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.

  • Ability and willingness to travel as needed to achieve business objectives – 10-15%.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with cloud technologies and/or application development platforms including PaaS, IaaS, Containers, Serverless Computing, APIs, Microservices and DevOps.

  • Awareness to Quality Assurance activities (eg. Load testing and related troubleshooting, Automated testing).

  • Knowledge of Compliance regulations (eg. GDPR, CCPA) and related design principles.

  • Familiarity with Design Systems & Atomic Design principles.

  • Familiarity with scalable architecture methodologies & software design principles.
