QC Master Data Specialist- Erlanger, KY

This is a full-time, exempt position.

Job Summary:

This position will provide support for ADM’s Flavors business regarding data management for LIMS and SAP/ERP systems. This role will own the LIMS system business administration supporting implementation and operation of laboratories LIMS systems. This position will manage the creation, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of master data while enacting any continuous improvement opportunities for the system.

Primary Job Functions:

  • Collect, organize, and assess master data to support QC laboratories.

  • Process master data for sourcing, cleaning/preparation, and data migration.

  • Monitor and report reliability/health of LIMS systems in North America and make recommendations for hardware, software, and data storage improvements.

  • Develop and maintain implementation plans, general controls, and business continuity plans.

  • Oversee the implementation of LIMS solutions in accordance with ADM, ISO and FSSC requirements.

  • Develop data sets, reports, and visualizations that are collected from multiple laboratories.

  • Serve as primary business administrator for LIMS.

  • Administrative role for LIMS includes requirements management, testing plan updates, instrument integration, and submission form updates.

  • Manage business process harmonization between facilities and the LIMS system.

  • Evaluate the design, selection, and implementation of LIMS changes in accordance with ADM requirements.

  • Continually improve master data management strategies and adhere to new regulations or practices as needed.

  • Remain current with industry trends, technology, and best laboratory practices as applicable.

Requirements:

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Biology, food science, or related field.

  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience working in a chemistry or biological laboratory.

  • Ability to decipher, aggregate, and organize large amounts of data maintaining attention to detail and data accuracy.

  • Preferred experience with Chemstation, OpenLab, Chromeleon, or Empower and their file management abilities.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as negotiation, influencing, and collaboration skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to work cross functionally with internal and external customers.

  • Experience with LIMS systems is required.

  • Preferred experience with SAP and familiarity with ERP systems.

  • Willingness to innovate and adapt best practices.

  • Ability to encourage trust between operations, Development, and Quality departments.
