Job Description:

1ADM Program Manager will be a member of the 1ADM PMO team and be responsible for driving the work associated with their area of responsibility, organized around workstream or team within the larger release structure.

Responsibilities

  • Allocate resources effectively to maximize program outcomes and identify opportunities to optimize resources.

  • Understand and support the strategic direction of the enterprise and associated business units, helping to guide which projects will deliver the greatest value to the overall portfolio.

  • Proficient in pulling together a portfolio schedule that is reflective of the best path to deliver individual projects within scope, budget and time. Understands critical path identification and management.

  • Quickly adapt to changing situations, assess risks, and pivot strategies as needed to ensure program success.

  • Proactively identifies and mitigates potential risks to the program success, and keeps stakeholders informed of risk status and mitigation plans.

  • Develop individuals and provide formal/informal coaching to build effective teams and upskill ADM personnel. Ability to mentor and train other project managers and analysts to build a strong collaborative environment and advance the value realized from project management.

  • Effectively manages scope, cost and time regardless of the PM methodology (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid) deployed.

  • Create an environment where multiple stakeholders’ voices are heard.

  • Establish clear expectation and communication channels with key stakeholders to drive successful program delivery.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and gain alignment with business goals and objectives.

  • Establish a culture of collaboration and partnership within the program team and with external partners.

  • Collaborate with the Business to solve problems and proactively provide support and direction.

  • Work with the business to understand their perspective and goals; incorporating thoughtfully to planning sessions.

  • Oversee a wide variety (scope, size, stakeholders) of 2-4 connected projects within the associated program.

Additional Requirements

  • 10-15 years Project Management experience in large scale transformation programs, ideally other SAP transformation programs

  • Identify ways to adjust individuals project timelines to continuously improve on the program level delivery schedule.

  • Develop and mentor team members to support career growth and development.

  • Consistently deliver on program objectives and metrics while maintaining stakeholder satisfaction and apply a consistent cycle of improvements through retrospectives.

  • Ability to identify program trends over time and raise observations/recommendations to PMO leadership.

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a credited institution in Business, Info System, Computer Science, Info Technology or related degree
