Position Summary

The Corporate Enablement function is aligned within the enterprise process framework to the Accountable Executive/Global Process Owner (AE/GPO) organization for the purpose of business technology strategy development, solution discovery, service management, risk management and relationship management. As a member of the Corporate Enablement function, the Solution Leader will lead the analysis of business processes and working closely with the Solution Leader(s), Process/System analysts, as well as business and/or process experts to develop, document and deliver end-to-end ES&G process and systems solutions which enable ADM’s strategy.

The IT Solution Leader is accountable globally for the enablement of Enterprise Strategy & Governance (ES&G) business processes through IT solutions. The ES&G process includes subprocesses which enable Corporate Strategy, including Sustainability, and Strategy Execution.

The Solution Leader is the strategic interface to the business and is aligned within the IT process framework to the AE/GPO. S/he is a key partner and trusted advisor with the business & process stakeholders and provides consultation, planning & design, and management of supporting existing and new technical solutions. This role with primarily focus (not limited to) on Sustainability

Key skills in this position include extensive knowledge of Enterprise Strategy & Governance sub processes, the ability to work with global teams and cultures, collaborate with and influence others, as well as lead teams.

Job Responsibilities:

Leading a team of functional analysts, the primary responsibilities of the role include:

  • Accountable for overall IT solutions supporting ES&G processes

  • Serve as the primary connection between IT solution delivery and the business & process stakeholders, representing IT and promoting IT solutions and capabilities

  • Accountable for negotiating, reporting, and managing the overall solutions provided to the AE/GPO. This includes performance against SLA’s from both internal and external service providers, cost to serve, and customer satisfaction

  • Define and action IT strategy for ES&G process, enabling technology to support business processes and aligning with the business process vision and future state, particularly in the area of Sustainability

  • Develop, maintain and communicate solutions roadmap for each solution that supports the Enterprise Strategy & Governance process

  • Develop and implement sound rationale for application portfolio management and manage product introduction and retirement plans, proactively anticipating gaps and overlaps within the application portfolio. Create consensus across other functions as to the timing of solution introduction and retirement.

  • Enforce processes and standardization of IT application use

  • Actively manage needs and expectations and deliver solutions with key process and business stakeholders

  • Proactively share knowledge of technology risks and opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness within the ES&G process.

  • Daily team management – includes work assignments, performance management, team issue management and professional development support for the team members

  • Strategic staffing – includes hiring, personal development and sustainability of our global Solution Delivery organization; ensuring establishment of key skills, experiences and business coverage for all critical capabilities required within the end-to-end team

  • Create shared vision of the respective solutions and facilitate decision making and arbitration relating to trade-offs both within and between different solution platforms.

  • Collaborate with IT architecture and operations teams to ensure solution compatibility with company standards

  • Develop a team of Subject Matter Experts for the process and supporting solutions

  • Oversee the execution of business analysis and high-level functional design for projects & enhancements

  • Drive continuous service improvement through established processes

  • Facilitate prioritization and management of business requests based on business value

  • Collaborate with Project Management Office on the prioritization of candidate projects across the company

  • Oversee the service transition and deployment of solutions and help to maximize the positive impact on the organization

  • Facilitate internal and third-party service review meetings

  • Own the relationship with external application vendors

  • Drive change and innovation to support Enterprise Strategy & Governance Global Process Owner vision

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree is required related to Information Systems, Business or other relevant academic discipline

  • •7 – 10 years’ experience a large-scale, enterprise environment with progressive responsibility in one or more Sustainability Solution set, including not limited to SAP modules; Experience with S/4HANA (preferred), Sphera, Workiva.

  • Knowledge of regulations, such as EUDR, Minimum of three full-life cycle Implementations focusing on EHS processes

  • Knowledge of SAP solutions covering Procurement, Finance, and Supply Chain processes

  • Experience partnering with the business to drive delivery of large-scale enterprise transformation programs

  • Experience operating in a cross-functional governance model that requires direct interface, presentations and/or making recommendations to senior leaders and Executives located inside & outside of the given process areas

  • Experience with dealing with key integration areas in Product Development, Supply Chain, Finance and Manufacturing

  • Demonstrated written, verbal and interpersonal skills to confidently communicate information, ideas, procedures and processes to audiences ranging from direct reports to executive leadership.

  • Knowledge of how current trends and technology may be used to support Enterprise Strategy & Governance processes.

  • Proficient understanding of how technology can solve for identified business problems.

  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, changing environment, and with all levels of the organization.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, complex projects in a timely manner.

  • Ability to work both in a team environment and independently.

  • Strong analytical, organization, time management and process management skills

  • Exhibits high personal performance standards, the desire and ability to continuously learn and must be results oriented.

  • Proven ability to build long-term relationships with customers and business partners.

  • Ability and willingness to travel as needed to achieve business objectives – likely 20-40% to other ADM locations
